Hello, can anyone recommend a sleep apnea clinic to visit (I live near Cardiff) which is private. I went to see the Docs about this but my Apnea score was not high enough to be reffered on the NHS apparently. I scored 11 IIRC but the Doc said he would refer me if I can find a private clinic so if anyone has had experience with one around my area or not........

Also how much £££ am I going to be looking at

Sorry can't help with the clinic but I'm interested as I seem to suffer from it a bit. At what stage did you decide to see a doctors about it?

I don't really suffer that badly from drowsiness, no more than anyone else as far as I can tell, but do occasionally choke in the night which has on a few occasions had me violently waking up and gasping for breath / convinced I can't breath / was going to die. Scares the sh*t out of my missus when it happens

Been working in IT for 5 years and last year was promoted to a 3rd line role. Thing is now I am mostly sat at my desk all day and because of this, I struggle to stay awake, especially when reading things. Have also seemed to stop breathing on occasion when sleeping which is quite scary when you think about it
