I have a feeling it retails at about 35 - 45 a bottle, But I might have it mixed up with something else.
Thats a perfectly respectable price for champagne (champaign). I normally get black label if its a friends over type night, Thats about £20 a bottle and its nice enough stuff.

Hope that helps in some way.

It has to be: Champagne is region in France. Anything else is sparkling wine.

Decisions , decisions...
A decent bottle of Cava for a tenner, or industrial grade champagne at £25?

Leander Brut Rosé is about seven quid a bottle in Tesco when it's not on offer, unless i'm very much mistaken. It's ok in moderation, but quite sharp. Nothing to do with Champagne at all.

I can't believe you didn't pick up on the mistake in the thread title! Shame on you.

Leander is a decent substitute, if you like dry Champagne. Rosé Champagne is another thing altogether; i'm personally not a fan and therefore struggle with Leander's "version". But try it - if you like it you'll save £10+ on the real thing.

Can't find anything called Leander - but does it look like this?

Lindauer Brut - Tesco Wine Club

If so, it's about £8 a bottle from Tescos....
