Sneaky rise in parking costs

Sneaky rise in parking costs
Renewed my monthly season ticket with the council last week. Requested VAT receipt as it is a business expense. Had to chase VAT receipt today, and realised the cost this month was the same as last month.
When I enquired why they said the VAT has reduced by a couple of pound. When I tried to gain confirmation that the Parking charges had effectively gone up they were stumped.
Reckon I should report it to the daily mail, middle england up in arms Cheely bu66ers though!

Loads of people doing this apart from maybe the major retailers. Yesterday I bought some new fish for my tank and they were £8 for 6 before the VAT decrease, and guess what? They are still the same. How does that work?

Nice one
I think there are a good few out there making the said adjustments, keeping the prices the same for goods and services.
Another "nice" but seemingly pointless idea
