Default Ebay website down??

As above, is it not working for anyone else? Seems strange for such a large site to be down

If it's blacklisted mate, there is a website you can go into, and type any blocked address into their searchbar, and it then works Can't remember what site though, a guy at college taught me it before xmas.

I just opened a new tab and thought I'd try it again in that, and it now works.

Dodgy tabbing still strange though it's doing that alot recently

It'll be an anonymizing site, something like Anonymouse. I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of using a site like this at work to get around any blocked sites, not to do this. They have been blocked for a reason, and if you're found trying to get around the block, you will quite probably be in a spot of bother.

There is also the fact that I'd not overly trust such a site if you were to use it, for example, to go to ebay or paypal and then enter your account details. How do you know the anonymizing site isn't storing this information to be used to access your account?

Anyway, you say ebay isn't working for you. What ebay site are you trying to access, is it the UK, American or other site? What exactly happens when you try and access it? What message is displayed by your browser, and what browser are you using and have you tried using a different browser?

Thats a good point actually now u say that about the details etc. Lucky enough we only use it at college to get onto the gaming sites then, lol
