Default Your worst way to go?

Different kind of doom to cheer everyone up and its a happier thread than mortgages

Having a wander through the park the other and looking at the frozen water I really hate the thought of falling through ice and drowning that way.

Falling off a cliff doesn't cheer me either hence why any heights terrify me and I always stay miles from the edge.

Any cheery ways to snuff it that give you nightmares sometimes /wake up in a sweat(anything not to talk about housing )

A cliff would be quick. Cancer or anything else meaning a slow lingering death.

The way my gran went, In a dank nursing home, on a rotten old arm chair with a p*ss soaked NHS sheet laid over it, being treated like (barley) live stock by pretty much non English speaking staff.

ditto Tel. Experienced in a supervised pool whilst having a swimming lesson. I never did learn to swim and won't go near water. (except a shower )

Not really fussed.... when I finally "check out" I'd like it to be a) big b) expensive and c) televised

Flames, water, planes..... bring it on, I'm happy to check out with a new experience or two

Indeed it's not.

Slipped into unconsciousness twice surfing in silly waves now. It's not all that fun.
Burning must be awful too - set fire to my hand once and that was bad enough.

Talking of cliffs, witnessed a dog fall about 40 feet off one on NYD. Thought it was dead but it seemed to only have broken a leg - amazing!

Burning to death whilst trapped would be my worst nightmare - falling off a cliff does worry me too (I have had a dream a few times where I was holding my small childs ankle as they slipped over the edge of a cliff - and I was being dragged over too ....... would you let go and save yourself, or would you go over too?)

Actually i almost slipped off a cliff in Switzerland when i was about 18, but for some reason that didn't seem quite so bad, even though it was about 200 feet down and if i hadn't grabbed hold of some grass tufts in a hurry, i could have been finding out the hard way exactly how far that was to the bottom...

Having my ********* cooked in a vat of hot marmalade, whislt still attatched to me, which would them be eaten by a couple of rabid dogs. Then have all fingers and toes broken with a pair of mole grips and my teeth pulled out individually.

This would be followed by disembowelment with a blunt spoon where I would then be forced to eat my own entrails.

Finally and expert surgeon would crack open my chest and place my still beating heart in my hands, whislt pouring sulfuric acid into my eyes, all the while someone drilling into my brain with a black and decker.

That probably my "worst way to go"

Add a bit of 'Crazy Frog' music in the background and I think you're pretty much there

I would go with the buried alive, just the panic of being shut in a dark, small area not being able to move feels me with dread. Although it is just pyschological.

If you are thinking about it rationally, then being slowly tortured would be the worst way: Slowly having parts of your body electocuted, then cut and then being made blind so you can just feel the pain and nothing else for days on end.

I can't swim so drowning is a real fear of mine.

But by far the worst way to go would be burned alive.

You hear of people being beaten up, then Petrol poured over them and then set alight. Can't think of a worse way to go.

Plane crash assuming it takes a few minutes to hit the ground - on your own its pretty horrible, if with family it would be the single most heartbreaking thing I can think of.

Or where my cold body is found in a puddle of my own ****/****/sperm. I'd like a good looking corpse.

Drowning has to be a bad one. Just anything violent that I can't control.

Or the worlds fatest, most unhygienic woman sitting on my face naked.

I must admit that if I woke up one morning with Squarsey next to me I'd top myself
