Who's put on weight over Christmas?
I have My jeans are really, really, REALLY tight at the moment and I'm ashamed to say that I went out and bought a new pair in a larger size because I was scared of splitting my others
The annoying bit is that I was fairly restrained over the holiday, I only ate one mince pie the whole time! I guess it was the chocolate, crisps and wine that didn't help plus I picked up the habit of eating hot thick buttered wholemeal toast with ginger preserve on it, yum, two slices never seemed enough though...

In a minute I'm going to take the dog out for a walk and when I come back I might play a bit of Wii tennis I need exercise and LOTS of it FAST

Been fattening up for winter for some time now
Guess it's time to do something about it, and have just spent most of much lunchtime tramping round the industrial estates, about two miles. Plan to do that on working days and more exercise in the evenings......

No sadly .. I'm trying my best to gain weight .. I'm 13 stone trying for 15 this year...
I do too much exercise compared to the amount I eat. I stopped working out over Christmas and now have man flu .. so maybe I'll gain a bit whilst I recover... I have been scared of getting fat my whole life so have always kept around 11 stone ! now I want to gain and its really, really difficult.

Simple!
No idea of weight gain or loss. Ran 5 rather arduous (cliff path) miles on Boxing Day, done some cycling (12 miles or more each time) and surfed the four days up to and including Xmas Day (as well as yesterday and the day before) so not overly worried!
Back to the normal "routine" today.
Just run a pleasant 4.5 miles and weights later on.

Press ups aren't enough to build mass, Puff, you'll only be doing maybe 50kg max. Tone, yes. Mass, no. Plus once you can't do another rep, you stop. The way to build size is to go beyond that point. Aim to bench press your bodyweight for about six reps (with a few assisted), and to squat about 1.25x your bodyweight for similar reps. Do situps if you must, but again that has little or nothing to do with putting on size.

I'd been maintaining at least 3 visits to the gym a week up until Xmas eve. I went once over the Xmas period and played footy on Sat. Just been to the gym now on my lunch to avoid the nightmare it would be tonight.... I've almost been sick and now feel faint! that's from 40 mins of weights. Alcohol and big nights f+ck your body!!
