Watch Experts - need some assistance
Had a couple of watches passed to me and trying to find info on the makers
both are around 1940's I believe
One has the name ONDA
One has the name TREBEX
Both are still working ... both are inscribed so were awarded for long service
Does anybody know about the makers?
I have done some searching on the web and can find other examples of the Trebex but not the Onda
Thanks in advance

Onda is a japanese company (Mitsuo) which has applied for a patent in 1980 to do with using different voltage sources to power a timepiece in a constant manner (ie: sense the input voltage and then adjust accordingly) sounds quite geeky !!! lol
It is also (most likely) a swiss WWII timepiece manufacturer:-

LOL - thats what I found on the Trebex ... mine is the same, more scratched and engraved on the back with Stanton
the ONDA -- you started me on a difference direction and found this
eBay Guides - WWII German military issue service watches
ONDA is referenced in there and this makes sense for the watch as it has a german word on the back -- never realised
