Why does every other shop in North London only sell chav shoes and bags?

Why does every other shop in North London only sell chav shoes and bags?

So i somehow ended up wandering the streets on North London....Turnpike Lane High St...NICE

on Sunday mornign and every other shop, Dozens of them just seemed to be selling chav shiny/pointy cheap Black shoes and leather bags.

WTF? Why?

Are they all fronts for laundering i guess?

Not moaning, just curious

I assusmed they were all fronts for money laundering, esp judging by the people running them. But then thought there were too many for that even.

I didn't go to any of them. The shoe/bag emporiums were actually the only ones open.

Do you mean Wood Green High Rd?

It's a **** hole around there - hence the shops selling tat.

Not a place to go shopping for quality

Yeah the high street outside TL station. It was an eye opener!

Just don't understand how so many shops can sell exactly the same stuff (and it didn't look that cheap either, just crap) all in the same area. Must be dodgy.

Its a dump of a place.
Most go to Temple fortune for bags (trouble is they steal them !!!)
