Default So what's your bird for Christmas day?

I've ordered a duck as I've had enough of turkey for a while.
So what's your meat of choice this Christmas?

Grrrrr, going to be at the chop dodging in-laws for Christmas day this year so no meat for me

Might have to smuggle some in. Hopefully they'll be some turkey left when I get to my parents on Boxing day.

Sorry Swiss, I assumed chicken was too 'every day'. Not knocking the old bird as she's a staple of my diet

A 'hard helmet' would be needed/appreciated I would think.

I'd rather have a chicken, but the GF is insisting on a dry, tasteless turkey.

At least my Mum's dogs will eat heartily.

Yes, I know what you mean re: dry and tasteless turkey.

I'm going to cook turkey this weekend for one of my wimmins before she goes home for the holiday.

She wants a roast - I've never attempted that before - but I'm tempted to do a turket escalope bundle as it only takes 30 mins! More time for boozing!
