I've learned some cat language tonight
One of my cats has a problem with one of it's front claws occasionally growing down into the pad. So every now and again I have to check her foot to make sure it's still OK
I've just done it tonight, and out of gratitude for my concern for her health, she's very obligingly taught me cat speak for,
"Put me down you ******* tw@t, before I rip your ******* face off"

Marvellous creatures. I have two. Oriental and Siamese. Little Oriental was ripping ten bells out of the GSDs snout earlier tonight.
I think they are starting to get on

Bad tempered buggers Poor Jack Russell. My German Shepherd is just curious, Christ the cats have his life and he is huge compared to them.

He's such a fanny, he doesn't know what to do when they decide enough is enough, turn round and whap him round the face So cute!!
I know what you mean when you say a GSD is scared of them too, I wouldn't mess with them either without some kind of bear-protection suit!!

Tell me about it! Poor wee Jimmy is only a pup, by all accounts, and he's usually just trying to make friends He can give as good as he gets though when there's only one, and chases them round the garden, I think the cats've got it all planned out though.

I had to dig around as I haven't personally taken any pics of Jimmy but I found one which was taken by someone else, clearly whilst drunk. Seem to unfortunately have more of my little brother in the pic than Jim-Jim
I so want a dog or cat but I live in a flat near a main road and I'm not so sure I like the idea of a house cat, gutted
Then again, I could look after a rescue cat that was on it's last legs and give it a decent, loving home for the last few years. Might be a bit heartbreaking though.

I should damned well hope so too, I'm fed up of him, with his fabulous thick head of hair, the swine!
Jimmy is a sweetie though, shame about the crappy focus. That's what happens when you let a technophobe play with an SLR
We have so much fun betting on how long it will take Jimmy to destroy the latest 'indestructible' toy that someone has bought him

I know that one, although strangely the Evil Killer Beast From Hell is actually pretty restrained with our dog. I think she recognises that being a Spaniel, it's never going to know any better
The Apple of her Daddy's eye:
The idiot hound:
I don't think the other cat has even noticed we've now got a dog He's hardly moved from the foot of our bed for the last 2 years

Notice they've all been photographed separately
We've had Tiddles (B&W) for 10 years (we think she's about 14yo), and Jock (Black) for 8. It's only over the past 6 months that she has started to accept the fact that he just might be a legitimate member of the family
Dee has only been with us for 6 months, she doesn't stand a chance of ever being accepted

Sharkey and George taught me some when I took them to the vets the other week.
When a cat looks at you and winks its left eye and puts its ears down it means "That better be a thermometer"

He "chortles" a lot and when he wants food he sits in the doorway so that you can't get past and it is almost as though his front arms are folded!

If anyone wants to learn cat language, just visit our ginger/white psycho cat from hell... he never shuts up!
Honestly, I've never known a cat like him for constant mewing and purring and growling. He comes in from the cold and you need to turn the TV up if you want to keep hearing the program!
Give him some fuss and the volume and rate of noise just increases geometrically!
He really is damn cute though

Rosie singed the fur off the end of her tail last week by laying it across the hotplate of our Aga.
I had put the kettle on and turned round to get a glass of water. I suddenly smelt singed hair and thought it was one of mine which had fallen across the hotplate. As the smell got worse, I turned around and saw Rosie on tiptoe looking in the top cupboard where the cups are kept. I realised it was her tail that was singed and stuck it in the glass of water! You could see the outline of her tail on the plate! Luckily it hadn't touched the skin.
She also threw my favourite mug on the floor from the work surface because I wouldn't give her anymore biscuits!
Supervising the cooking.............

She's fine
I'm sure there will another one time soon ?
Also for the above pictures "no animals were harmed in the making of the above photos" apart from me due to the cat trying to take my arm off getting here into some of the poses
