I listen every morning on the train to work, have to say I don't think he is as good as he used to be in the afternoons. He has toned the show down a lot since then. I do find the sexual innuendoes etc a little uncalled for - I would not let my kids listen before school.
I do think he is funny just not as funny as he used to be years ago.

I listen to Chris Moyles every morning. Very funny show. The guy has huge tallent in the way he can just talk and talk. Rip the p1ss out of listeners and make the show entertaining every morning. Guess radio 1 bosses think the same, hence his £650k+ wage packet.
Listen to other radio presenters trying to copy him, and they can't hold a torch to Moyles.
If you don't like his show or any other show for that matter............
Change stations.

He's a big headed, mouthy, bullying sexist in my opinion.
When he starts on Rachael you can hear the nervous laughter from the others.
They daren't answer him back or put him right as they fear for their cushy jobs.
Still better on the way to work than all the others though.

Afternoon shows were funnier.

Chris Moyles is funny -- certainly I enjoy listening to him in the morning.
My favourite DJ is Geoff Lloyd on Absolute (nee Virgin) radio. The 45 minute podcast of his show available from iTunes is hilarious.

He makes my miserable journey to work slightly more bearable. I love the team around him, they're all up for a laugh and Dom is my favourite.
Like said before, if you can't stand him, why are you putting yourself through it?

I have him on most mornings and he is great, good light hearted listening, maybe not (at times) for under 10s but never too bad IMHO,
He has good days and bad days, a lot will be the bouncing off the rest of the team,
Some of the guests are fab and he does get stuck into them in his own way, he doesnt just promote whatever there selling,
He can laugh at himself and thats important.

I'm a Radio 2 kind of chap (I'm 29). Really dislike most of the Radio 1 chat so I simply don't listen to it. Especially Mr Moyles. Mind, not all of Radio 2 is for me either. But enjoy listening to Ken Bruce, Chris Evans, Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie, Steve Wright and even Mr Wogan. I also like some of the chat on Jeremy Vine show!

Used to like the Moyles show, but rarely listen these days. Moyles himself can be quite funny, but some of the other members of the team really annoy me. "Comedy" Dave thinks he's funny, but isn't, and comes across as a right moody tw@t who can't take it when the joke's on him. Carey who "thinks im posh, but really Im not" annoys me.

But by the end of the week I can't stand him, he is repetitive and boring, much like the rest of TV/Radio these days

I think he's funny as ****.
I could never listen to a commercial radio station, and I'm not prepared to start wearing cardigans and slippers, so that rules out Radio 2,3,4 etc.
I actually like the fact that he has shock value. Considering the compaints about him (polish prostitutes most recently), I wonder what a proprer shock jock like Howard Stern would do to all the sensitive little souls that abound in the UK...

Chris Moyles is the reason I stopped listening to Radio 1. But I can appreciate he is very popular.
I must becoming an a old git because I found myself listening to Radio 4 or Radio 5 live alot.
When I picked up my Peugeot 106 it didn't have a radio and I haven't got around to fitting one.
I have had the car nearly 19 months too.
I listen to tunes in the Impreza but often find myself listening to the car instead.

an't stand the fat git. You know how you can get an idea of what someone looks like from their voice and then when you see them they are nothing like what you imagined? Moyles doesn't do that, he sounds like a lard *** in a bucket of butter and when you see him he is!
The talking over stuff, the squeeky karioke (reason i don't go to those sorts of pubs) and the sheer amount of underlings needed to massage his ego and keep him in dull things to say each day is tedious at best.
Thing is the boss likes it so we have to listen to it. Says a lot that the golden hour on friday where he shuts up and plays some old songs is the best bit, hardly a credit since a trained monkey could play some decent tunes once a week.

What I look for in a radio (should that be listen for?) is variety. Radio 1 plays the greatest selection of musical styles and types. Their specialist shows are also very good IMO.
However, the whole station is let down by its presenters! I really can't tolerate any of them between 6am and 6pm! Commercial Stations only ever seem to have 2 songs then 6 adverts and that's crushing after the third time you've heard that "catchy" jingle in 30 minutes!
I prefer the Pirates.
