Photo Driving License - Check your expiry date!
The first batch of photo driving licenses had a very short expiry date.
A few people have been caught out & fined £1000 as theirs has expired.
The date is in small print to the right of the "4b"

They all have a 10 year expiry. The photo just needs renewing. Everyone should be recieving renewal updates by now. The original ones were running out 6 months ago with no renewal notice but its been sorted now. Nothing to worry about

Also before you send it off take a photocopy of the back. There is every chance your new one wont have the same classes on.
I actually know someone that lost there D1 and still cannot get it put back on without taking a test!!

On the back yes, but on the front, next to 4a is the issue date and expiry date. Cant be 2035 unless youre still fekking about with a paper license
