Default Had a letter off Halifax!

had a letter few days back saying my credit card interest has gone down from 16.9% to 6.9%. Wasn't expecting that, anyone elses changed?

No but keep getting Virgin Card writting to me offering me deals on my existing card since I paid the balance off, they are chasing business at the moment

I'm sure theres better deals to be had, there's companies offering 18 months 0% on balance transfers

With a 3% fee. . . . And if you use the card, you still get the high rate on the "new" borrowing, but your monthly payment pays off the "old" debt so you're still paying interest on the new money

Thats why it's advisable to not spend on the card if you do a balance transfer.
Still there are cards out there which offer 6 months 0% apr on purchases too
