OK Dumbass here forgot his pin this morning. I have a good idea what it should be but foofed it up. tried twice then pressed cancel and got my card back. I know if you try 3 times and get it wrong it swollows your card. If I put it in a different machine now do I get another 3 tries or am I still on 2 strikes before I try again after work?

I did this with my chip and pin card in a shop. So I went to another shop - which promptly barred my card when I cocked it up again.

Not sure about the cash machines, but I reckon it might keep it.

3 total, go into a branch with ID and ask them to send you a new one (or readvise the current), happens all the time.

You can unblock your card on certain cash machines, there will be a pin option in the menu, I uocked a credit card this way, though i'd check with your bank first.

Change your pin to 0000 so you dont forget it, thats what i did lol

Ive paid some bills whilst the card is still active and Im going to give it one more try on the way home, if it eats the card then so be it. I'll order another.

Its not like its a new number either, its my main bank card that Ive been using, well, for a while
