Mr. Ecclestone to feel the 'Pinch'?
Bernie's about to get a taste of his own medicine by the looks of things:

Pray do tell. What exactly constitutes "His own medicine"
If its making every team owner a multi millionaire. Is it taking a poky little sport and dragging it kicking and screaming into a televised sport every other weekend at 1pm. Is it being a better business brain than anybody else out there and negociating himself a shed load of money?
TBH. He can give his wife half and still be fine. But he wont as hes a better business man than that. At least this isnt as pretentious as that McCartney saga. Bernies been married for 24 years! They must have something in common.
The only people that dislike Bernie have a) either been out manuevered by him or b) Have no idea what his role is. He pays them and makes sure that everyone turns Hp. That they uphold the standards of presentation he expects. He helps teams negociate with potential sponsors. And he also (apparently) looks after his own staff EXTREMELY well. He also sells their images to the TV companies around the world
People seem to blame him for the McLaren spying thing. And the Spa thing. Forgetting that hes just a marketting man with no actual control over the rules. Its the FIA you have to look at for that issue.

Lets face it, he has been punching above his weight (and height) there for a long time, he is in his seventies, and minted, he isn't going to go short (of money) even if he gives her half, if he gave her all of it he would get in a month what most of us see in a decade or possibly a lifetime.
Still reckon he looks like a little smelly newsagent with an above average selection of top shelf material.

It's got nothing to do with his business acumen.
Whatever you feel he has done for F1, he's done it for himself first of all, and he's patently all to ready to prostitute 'his' circus around the world to the highest bidder. Blatant disregard for all historical connections with the venues that have fostered the sport over the past 60 years ( and yes that's a business too), and without any apparent consideration for the loyalty of thousands upon thousands of race fans are dear Bernie's trademarks.
I happen to think the guy's a money grabbing little weasel, and a 'smelly newsagent' isn't a bad description either.
Just my opinion, which plainly differs from yours.
But that's what you get on a public forum, isn't it?
