I need a website built
Yet another how to ? although i dont want to do this one myself.
I recently bought over a company & i am slowly dragging them into the 21st century.
So i need a website built, i have the doamin name & have purchased POP3 email if that makes any sense ?
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a cost effective website builder ?
By the way its a Transport / Logistics company.

Sti04, I am happy to recommend a guy I know who runs a company called Sanke Solutions.
He's based in wales and has built 2 sites for me, amongst numerous others.
His name is Paul and I've known him for 10 years or more.

If you don't know what you are doing, it may be best to hire somenody in to do it for you. What you do need to do is put together a design brief covering:
1) What sort of look you want it to have
2) Features; online purchasing, blog, pricing, contact info, jobs etc

Depends what you want mate. An info site is a doddle to do, and can be done cheaply on your own.
Who is hosting the domain, people like 1&1 offer website creator as part of their packages. if you dont have hosting already, give me a shout and i will see what I can sort out for some cheap server space for you

Used to build websites in a previous life but don't have much time to do them these days. Could put you in touch with someone that I used to work with but they do high end sites which do cost. Depends how much you want to spend If you need any help or advice give me a shout.

I used Business IT Support Solutions, Website and Database Design and Management - Milton Keynes - Confidence IT they built a website for me that had three companies linked together under one banner and were 1/3 the cost of anyone else. I could not recomend them highly enough. Its a small company 6-7 employees but the boss/owner personally deals with and checks everything they do.
