Default My Fish are swimming up and down ??

I've only recently cleaned out the tank .. but I used more and 1/2 of the water that was already in there, the heat seems fine .. I have two filters one at the bottom and one to break the surface to help put oxygen into the water .. I also have several plants !!

Even my Plecks are doing it now ???

I have a molly that i think has been smoking crack as all it does is chase its tail! I am not joking either it freaks me out!

Maybe the fish are riding the waves (Underwater waves created by the air and filters etc...)

Try googling 'swim bladder' etc... mine did this, it's summat to do with their natural buoyancy, or summat, possibly.

they are eating fine.. I've moved the fliter up to make more of a break of the surface and lowered the temp as I've read both of these can cause it.. the Clown loch is doing it the most .. the others every now and then .. I dunno ...

I used to have a parrot fish and i used to feed him frozen prawns, he could pack away 4 or 5 on a good night and he literally used to lose all control because he was so bloated He then died very suddenly The local tropical fish shop reckon it had a mini Heart attack

It was only later i discovered Parrot fish are "Test Tube" made

This fish is no more! It's passed on! It has ceased to be! It has expired and gone to meet its maker! It's a bouy! Bereft of life he floats in peace, if you hadn't nailed him to the tank, he'd be in some cat! It's swimming days are now history!. It's off the water! It's kicked the castle, it's shuffled off this mortal coil! He has run down the curtain and joined the bleeding choir invisible!

This is an ex-parrot (fish)!

What????

Who couldn't resist that little link!

heres mine, all on his own now as he took chunks out of his mate and he had to be put to sleep

big ****** 8-10 inches long

sadly we are thinking of getting rid of him does anyone want him? he needs a reasonable sized tank, easy to feed and look after, can demolish a slice of ham in 3 bites too
