A bit of Bank Advice Please
Long story, and I have a habit of going on a bit, so I'll just keep it simple.
How much hassle and time does it take to open up a new bank account? I wish to leave my current bank, and set up elsewhere (just basic account).
Possibly a stupid question, but I've been with mine from my first savings account until now, and just don't know how it all works. Any advice appreciated.

. Not wanting anything other than a basic account, just trying to take a bit of control. I will definately behave.
