Memory card/phone question.
Bought a memory card for my mobile phone(Samsung D900) Loaded some music on to it and cannot get my phone to read the card. Put a friends card in my phone, no problem, could read her card. Put my card into her phone, again no problem. It is just my phone and my card that is the problem. Totally bemused Can anyone help please.

What size is it & what size was your friends
I remember when i got mine, i could have got ones upto 8gb but my phone only supported upto 2gb.
If i recall correctly there is also different types of memory that, your phone may only accept certain ones.

Here's a bizarre fix someone mentioned on there -
Here is a way to get it working.
If this doesn''t work, please don''t shoot me,
I switched the phone to Mass Storage (Settings - Phone Settings - USB Settings).
I then removed the card, and then re-inserted it - but then immediately hit my camera button twice to take a picture.
The phone says that the card is inserted and when I go into it it can be accessed.
This fixes the problem about 95% of the time I have tried it.
Looks like scandisk ones work better (you'll be telling me that's what you've got next, lol)
Kingston ones have lots of probs reported.

Try formatting the card in the phone, there should be a menu for it somewhere. Some Sony Ericsson phones used to be fussy and this usually fixed the problem, obviously this will erase anything on the card!
