Rowing machines
My missus used to row quite well and says that the Concept 2 is the only machine worth looking at. Surely there must be half decent knock-offs around now? C2s cost an absolute bomb

Concept 2s are very good. Most Argos specials aren't.
But better than nothing - although as a hater of indoor cardio exercise, I always say get out and run, ride, surf, swim instead.

Agreed.
Concept 2 all the way.
Some crew does a water filled one as well - but more expensive than concept 2s.
Might be cheaper joining a local gym?

I've got a Horizon Fitness Oxford II and am very pleased with it. The computer is basic but it is comfortable to use and gives good resistance. Quality is good and I got mine for £380.

Concept 2's are good if you have £300 to spend an a big room to put it in.
I've got an AR1 (forget the brand) but its half that price and still rated quite highly. Happy with mine
