Default Wahay i'm off to work in 4 hrs

As per title really
first days work in nearly a year for various reasons-a nights driving a wagon full of cakes and bread.
Slight downside is that its only the one night and the wages are taken off my dole money so after fuel costs and a bit of food out I'll be about a fiver down on the deal.
Still its a start and with any luck I'm hoping I might be able to get more hours next week.
Maybe Christmas will be reinstated this year after all
cheers Richie

Tell the social about your expenses and give them the receipts.

Expenses are, for tax reasons, deducted from earnings. Don't see why it should be any different for dole money.

Nice one for doing it, even if you may loose a fiver. Its a shame the **** takers claiming don't sit up and take note.

Already enquired about that-no deductable expenses, but its all about trying to get a few extra days in the oncoming weeks.
really need 3 days a week min to hold everything together-hoping for class one this weekend as its only an 18 tonner tonight.

Spar shops? They do more bakery stuff like bread and pasties etc. now. Theres a 24 hour one up the road from me (used to be a regular stop on the stumble home from a night out).

respect mate: hope it all works out well.

as a comparison - my g'f's sister.......

her and boyfriend just moved back to Yorkshire- 4 mths ago. he packed work in to move here.

she moved to a existing job and since has been promoted.

he has done nothing to find a job, hasn't worked since- he is living off her and her savings.

obviously my in-laws and g'f are going mental. christmas is coming etc. I keep asking why he can't stack shelves, push trolleys- do anything.

I mean WTF does he do all day long-- hasn't even got cable tv or the internet to keep himself amused !!!!

there is a word for men like that........
