Top Gear recieves 200 complaints
I think that this is going to be the tip of the iceberg now.
The BBC have had more than 200 complaints about Clarksons remarks regarding lorry drivers murdering prostitutes (which I thought was really funny)
Pretty soon we are not going to be able to have any kind of comedy program.
The world is going mad, and I really wonder where this is going to end

200 people complained - how many watched the show? One million? The fact should be 999,800 people did not complain not 200 did.
Dear Sir, Having been a truck driver for over twentry years I take great offence to comments made by Mr Clackson about truck drivers murdering prostitutes. It has been nearly 8 years since I last murdered a prostitute, I would hardly say it was a regular thing!

I was outraged. I'm not a truck driver, and I've never murdered a prostitute (I didn't know what she did for a living) yet his comments have insulted me.
There is a time and a place for those type of comments............
The 70's.
We live in Multi-cultural Britain. There is no room in this great country for comments like this.
I'm off to write a very strong letter of complaint to the Director General of the BBC. I want Clarkson sacked and the program taken off air.

They only murder prostitutes when they haven't splattered a cyclist for a while.
Only joking, thats the idea, its a joke, it wasn't actually that accurate as the Suffolk murders were committed by a bloke who was a warehouseman at the time, he had been a lorry driver at some point.
Wouldn't bother me if comments were made about IT workers, in fact the series the IT crowd is simply based on taking the pee ot of the IT industry, I love it, some people cannot laugh at themselves, life is easier when you don't take yourself seriously.

When I saw the headline, I thought it might have been the Russell Brand quip when introducing the Stig.
Or will that go largely un-noticed until 1 person complains and the daily mail get hold of the article...

if my maths is correct then the figure of 7mill viewers measn that less than 0.002857% of them complained.
well that a large figure isn't it, must have been a slow news day that day for them to report the story.
also the bbc has a duty to please the most viewers it can, i think it may have done so hehe
