annoying calls
hi all has anyone had any annoying automated calls supposedly from llyods tsb doing my head in i havnt even got an account and its a womans name they are quoting .
i must of had around 10 calls today and it finishes with "if i would like the calls to stop please ring this number they leave .
wonder if its a scam

I used to get them from my own credit card company, they would go like "this is an automated message for windyboy please contact us on..." when I owed them money, but I would also get them for somebody who's name sounds like "clad-yags" too, so I just hung up.

The missus had some dodgy sounding texts, supposedly from lloyds, that she showed to her cashier at the bank. She (the cashier) was shocked to find out these amateur sounding efforts WERE indeed from her employers.
Lloyds do have some very odd ideas sometimes.

We get about 4 automated calls a day Even though we're registered with TPS I just lay the phone down whilst connected to ensure they use the maximum time of their message and deny them moving on to the next caller as quickly. I can't see any other way of stopping them
