If I wasn't so far away mate, I'd have asked to come along for the ride one time mate - seems a regular thing now

Quick update for anyone interested(and get me post count on this acct up a bit)
been getting 3-4 days work a week mostly nights or 3-4 in the morning starts which bloody hurts a lot after not doing a night shift in 6 years(i'm crap at daytime sleeping) driven everything so far from 12 tonne bread vans to double decker artics delivering anything from milk, asian food supplies to parcels.
Still on emergency tax too so hoping for a big fat tax refund soon to cover christmas.
Thanks again to those who have offered their good wishes/congrats as well
cheers richie

based in south wales doing agency work so the long term perm prospects are not that good at the mo-should be ok till xmas tho-thank god they dont use eatons now in newer comercials-3 over 3 ,4 over 4 gated 8s(my fave) or autos(tipotronic or manual so no mid roundabout changes) still its all £s earned which is good-even the bigger firms dhl tnt etc are not taking on atm unless youare a foreign national with a green card so they can pay you less than min wage.Just cant wait to be off emergency tax and get my lovely tax refund/tax free work for next few months-best gross to date(before tax and NI has been 125 for a nights work-would love that full time tbh as i didnt even have to unload my own wagon as seems to be the current trend although was a 14 hr shift)
cheers richie

I am currently working for a bardon aggregates haulier out of a quarry near to where I live on an 6 wheel tipper lorry delivering hot and cold stone. currently driving an 08 volvo 4 over 4.

you should see if you have any quarry near to you, as we seem to have plenty of work at the minute, I have been doing quite well this last few weeks.
