Selling a private reg already on retention
If I pay the £25 change of nominee fee and send the form off to DVLA for the new owner to be added as nominee, when they come to assign it to a vehicle do they need to return the V750 for me to sign as the purchaser ?
Or do I sign section 4 when I forward the amended V750 to the buyer

Once the retention certificate is returned to you with the new nominees name on it, you simply sign in the grantee space provided for putting it on a vehicle. Send it on to the nominee who then fills out the vehicle details, takes it or sends it to the DVLA and its then returned to his/her address. They then become the grantee, job done.

If your certificate isn't signed by the grantee you need it signing before you can proceed further.
