Default selling on ebay

I have sold a phone on ebay, I sent the invoice to the seller yesterday. I have not recieved anypayment but my feedback has increased by 1 point. The person whom has bought the phone has left positive feedback saying "good seller. Perfect Item and fast delivey A+++++++" I know I have a 2nd chance offer but I'm none to keen to use it incase its all part of a scam.

Should I just report it to ebay as a non paying bidder and relist ???

He has probably bought a few items and left feedback on the wrong one, I have done this before.

I would give him a couple of days before getting worried.

Also I think you have to allow 7 days for payment.

Sounds like he's got a bit confused!!

But yeah, you have to wait a minimum 7 days after the end of the auction until you can open a non-payment dispute as I'm going through this myself at the minute. I waited 7 days and tried to contact the buyer again warning I would be starting proceeding the following Sunday (14 days after auction) and followed up on the Thursday with another communication.
Dispute is now open and again you have to wait another 7 days before you can close it due to non-communication from the buyer, they then get a non-payment strike on their account (3 strikes and ebay take action) and you can claim back your selling fees and I think you can re-list for free as well??
