whoaaa there guys, i didnt mean it like that at all, it's bloody tragic what has happened here, i was just pointing out the obviousness of the cause of death, admittedly looking back at it, it's not worded as well as it should be, which i apologise for, it certainly wasnt meant to offend potential reletives or freinds or anybody else for that matter. if admin feel it should be removed, by all means do so.

The OP was fair comment in my book - same as the one doing the rounds when it first happened - great barbecue in Shropshire last night but at about 4 a.m. they ran out of Fosters.
Sad, tragic incident, but folk laugh at this kind of black humour.
Pan-Am Lockerbie crash:
What's the difference between first class and economy on Pan-Am?
About 6 miles.
What's blue, blonde and pretty and comes down your chimney at Christmas?
A Pan-Am air stewardess.
Air France Concorde:
Heard about the new inflight service from Air France?
Runway to airport hotel in less than 30 seconds.
9/11:
The new business service on American Airlines?
An office at your wing-tip.
And so on.
No, we shouldn't laugh, but we do.
And people still laugh at racist, sexist jokes and other utterly inappropriate cracks too.
And thank God, they always will!

I cannot think what state his mind must have been in to destroy his family as well as himself

Is stating the facts now an offence?
Please, can you state your reason's for 'neging' this post? Without debate, no one can know what their doing wrong. Hiding away isn't going to change SN, it's just going to create a divide.

And that is 'unwanted' for what reason?

It's all in the tone of the OP's post and the use of terms like 'barbecued'.......seems a bit flippant when maybe a better phrase may have been 'tragically burned to death'. Although slightly longer to type, it's just a bit more sensitive than 'barbecued in a 1 million pound mansion
Tone of post is all that will have caused the reddish tint......

Ah, obviously, we can't be light hearted about situations we have nothing to do with?

"Barbecued" was a bit OTT although it didn't upset me too much. But the main point is that the OP was a bit silly as it was almost certainly NOT the fire that killed that poor kid. Mercifully - and I use that word carefully in the circumstances - it seems 99% certain that she died quickly by the hand of her evil father before the fire. dl

Clicking an icon is not going to change things. Debate will.
Personally, I have thick enough skin to take the OP in the context it was intended.

I do think we natrually make jokes in these situations but sometimes its best just to not say anything, I personally cannot express easily what I think about Mr Foster, if the circumstances are as they appear and based on the reports as to his personality.
What a vile, sad little man, so wrapped up in material success that he destroyed the two really important things, was he really so vain and worried that people would think him a failure because he had lost material wealth, would it not be better to live in a Council house with your loved ones than do that.
I think this kind of person, perhaps not to that extent is more common than we think, people who make money by deception, dubious financial transactions (as is to the fore at the moment), the "whole greed is good" thing.
I appreciate being under duress does some strange things to people but not that, that is just being a petulant spoilt brat, he didnt deserve to live and that was up to him, but his wife and daughter did not deserve what they got.
