How much alcohol do you drink?
I know this has been done before (a zillion times ) but I'm curious to know how much the average Scoobynetter drinks per day/week/month/year. If I could remember how to do a search I would, but two glasses of wine have addled my brain already
I guess on average I have approximately two glasses of wine or two measures of spirit per evening with more at weekends. I'm not sure if this is bad or not but it makes me feel nice

I dont. And havent done for about 3 yrs now.
I dont have / had a problem. I just cant stand the smell of it or taste of wine or beer ........
When ever I tell someone they always assume I have had trouble in the past

I did three months earlier this year without booze too as I was on a strict diet but I'm now back to normal (worse)

Nowhere near as much as I used too! Not as much as I'd like at times, and not as much red wine as is good for you. I sometimes go weeks without, but at times in the past I've started at 10 in the morning and gone through to 3-4 the following morning, wine, beer, champagne, spirits, cocktails, heading towards 100 units, and done that 2 or 3 times in a week. That was part of the lifestyle associated with a previous job. When I was in my early 20's (some time ago!) I was told to give up booze completely as I was alcohol dependant, drinking neat Malibu for breakfast. When I do go out on a session, I'm shocked at how much, and how quickly young people drink. They're sh1tfaced after 2 or 3 hours, whereas me and my mates are still going strong, more interested in having a great time than who can vomit the quickest.

I find I can drink lots of JD or Barcardi but not wine. Tonight for example Bob is working and I'm on my own and that 'just one glass of wine' with my dinner is quickly turning into a whole bottle

Don't really drink at all, usually just one pint every thursday at the local car meet in Hull. Can't afford to drink currently.
Used to go out on a friday or saturday night and along the day/evening would consume about 7 pints and (back then) 9 alcopops.
Just drink lager now, last time I was drunk was 10 bottles of carlsberg on champions league finale night

I have a few Friday and Saturday nights, couple of beers, couple of glasses of wine, not massive amounts but I am trying to moderate it a bit and avoid weekday night drinks as I need to lose weight and get fitter, also its an expensive habit that makes you feel nice for a bit but the after effects from a decent amount are worse than what you get out.
Alcohol is great, but in moderation at the right time, in the right place, if you think more = better then you are in trouble.
Meant to be going for a pint tomororow night after work and one lads said "You can have as much as you want seeing as you are on a push bike", er, right, good idea that.....
