I was in the shower this morning then water just stopped coming out of the head. So i turn the shower off then back on again and water just started flowing out of the overflow pipe and only a little bit from the head.

I read somewhere it could be the safety presure valve are these hard to fit or could it be something else.

Would it be worth just buying a new one.

Triton stuff isn't hard to repair, take the whole thing off the wall to do it if there's an isolating valve in the water feed pipe. It's much easier repairing stuff on the kitchen table than 5 feet up a wall inside a slippery shower enclosure

first thing i'd try is descaling the water bottle inside the casing. i had a similar problem with a triton shower once and silly though it seemed, once i'd spoke to the manufacturer, they sent me a replacement bottle and that cured the problem.

it'll cost you nothing (or possibly a bottle of descaler if you don't have any already) to try descaling the bottle, so well worth trying that first IMHO
