Exclamation Shock News: The RAF is ghey

Sal and I have just returned to our room after a night out, courtesy of Rob878, The RAF and RAF Leuchars.

This is the absolute gospel truth and if I'm lying you can door ding my car till the cows come home! We were on base, in the rugby club. On the big screen was Top Gun, at the same time the DJ was playing Aqua - Barbie Girl. I kid ye not! That's pretty bad in itself but what made it worse was that the RAF types were loving it!

Did any of the pilots offer to take you into a hanger so they can show you how their bomb doors open?

All I can say is, the only shirt lifter I ever knew of in all the time I was in the Mob, was a Navy Lt Commander on attachment, but not for long!

Have any of those who are so quick with the accusations got any proof?

It always used to be only fighter pilots who did that sort of thing. They are a bit "different" for sure!

Nope, god wants to be a pilot .

Just not in the RAF.

Although an American USAF geezer once asked a liney, "whats it like not being in the biggest airforce in the world." to which the RAF liney replied with out looking up from his task "Not sure whats it like not being in the best ??"

The above may or may not have happened, but never let the facts get in the way of a yarn

I once asked an F3 pilot what it's like to fly out of Leuchars, he said 'dunno the lineys are all crap and can't get the jets to work plus they're too busy doing BBQs and the weather is too crap to fly'....or summat like that.

He's right they are crap, not like in my day, when you could "fix" an oil leak with the simple wipe of a rag whilst waiting for the jockey to pitch up. it's been years since i was a liney, it's all change apparently you have to actually fix things now which cuts terribly into serviceability and their flying time.

See you in 45 mins, bring your pillow to bite down on i like the big boys like you, more to wrestle with.

From memory the reason the bomber pilots had somewhere to operate from and planes to fly during WW2 was because the fighter pilots kept ze germans from gaining control of the skies during the Battle of Britian.
