Default How Can You Tell If You Have Bought A Forged Ticket?

I recently bought some tickets of eBay for a Jimmy Carr show.

The sell has been a member of eBay for 5 years, they have 500 plus positive feedback and all seems above board.

The tickerts arrived today, and as far as I can tell they are real, not fake.

Typically my other half has put a doubt in my mind. As a result I ws wondering if they was any sure fire way of telling if the tickets are real or not?

The tickets are card, not paper, they have a little holgram on them and loads of different serial numbers.

I tried to contact ticket master, and all they could say was that ticket has been issued, but they could rule out it as being cloned or copied.

Does any one have an idea, just for a little piece of mind. I'm sure they are real.

Congratulations- if you gave them the serial number/name and said you had bought them, you have alerted TM to them being sold on, so there is a fair chance they might get cancelled now.
Why do you think listings on ebay dont put the seat numbers on?

I'm deeply confused - why the hell would you buy tickets for Jimmy Carr, He is very very not funny.

When you turn up if someone has to sit on your lap you know it has been sold twice

I didn't give them the seat number or any details to ID the ticket, I simply asked them for the ID marks to see if they were real. I'm not a total numpty.

Do you find Eddie Izzard funny also ?

I actually walked out of a gig he was playing at the Cambridge Exchange a few years ago. Deeply worried that a couple of people around me were wetting themselves and I was bored rigid.

Now Here's my take on it

Funny
Laurel and Hardy
Jackie Mason
Bobby Slayton
Married with Children

Not Funny
Jimmy Carr
Eddie Izzard
Gordon Brown
June Sarpong
Alan Carr

In your opinion, is my point. Humour is subjective: what you like, others might hate.

Forged tickets are much stronger and more reliable at high revs, printed ones are lighter and can be folded.

DCI will be along in a minute to explain that if you try to light them and they catch fire then they are forgeries, real tickets don't burn

I watched 8 out of 10 cats last night and was cracking up. Admittedly not just at Jimmy (he has a rather ghey laugh it must be sad) but a good combo of guests. Quite liked that fat chap from Gavin & Stacey even though I have never watched that prog.

Off to see him at Reading Hexagon with the mrs next month (Jimmy that is).

Have you learned nothing? Its subjective, so what you mean is in my personal opinion; theyre sh*te. In others' opinions theyre funny. It is the height of arrogance to presume that your opinion is definitive.

Also; youre wrong about M&W: 100% genius...

The funniest sketch I EVER saw was the one where a police car sped past M&W Flat with the sirens going.

Without Wise, Morecombe wouldnt have done anything: and that alone make Wise equal...

I think that it was a fire engine.
