Am running in the Nike run on Sunday, but weather reports suggest that it's going to be pissing down.

Does anyone know where I could get one of those transparent "poncho" type raincoats that you just pull over your head and it covers your body and has a little hood??!

The ones you see football/tennis spectators wearing on a wet day.

You mean the boil in a bag plastic things, might be OK for standing around but not exercising in, just get wet.

Agreed just get wet. Run in water proofs and you will get just as wet from the inside out, rather than with rain.

Im doing the run too but in the fake way, on my Nike+ on a treadmill lol

Another vote for you ending up wetter inside a plastic bag.

Running or biking, I find it's a choice between getting wet from rain or getting wet from sweating, even with a breathable waterproof jacket.

I use the Nike dry fit range when out running or whatever,these pro vent tops are pritty good,and it does keep you dry when you sweat,but you have to wear them tight to the body,no use wearing them Baggy,hey are designed to stretch.This is a base layer top,and then you can wear a light weight running jacket on top or just run in the pro vent top..obviously if it really P1isses down the rain your gonna wet anyway wearing a cheapo plastic run top.sports world and alot of the high street sports shops do these tops for about £20.00 ..
