I have put the first 2 episodes of "Band of Brothers" on my video ipod - boxed set UK high street purchase. When I play it back on the ipod, I have a dubed French Language version. I can't see any way in the route directory to differentiate between the language options, any helpful suggestions please

What did you use to rip the DVD to iPod format? If you play the file from your hard drive, does it have the same issue?

My guess is that when it was ripped the primary language file used wasn't the English one but the french one, or, it has a few to select from so it's decided to go for the french one, in which case, if the english one is there, you could delete the french one and see if it then goes for the english one.

It could be a limitation of the iPod as I'm not convinced that it is really designed to play ripped DVD's, hence why it doesn't have a DVD like menu on it, where you could select the language version.
