'Family Guy' - 'Blue Harvest' - Star Wars Pi55 take
Anyone else watched this?
Never seen 'Family Guy' before, but after seeing this have set a few up for record.
Totally great animated take on Star Wars, with R2 as a drug dealer dude, chewy as a dog, Vadar 2ft tall and Han and Luke fat as hell - based on the Family Guy characters I guess. Obi Wan takes the biscuit as the funniest character.
For any Star Wars fans you need to see this - laughed my *** off throughout, especially as Han and his Dog Chewy trying to salvage a sofa from the Death Stars trash compactor!
On Sky movies from time to time

Family Guy can be very amusing. Blue Harvest is very good indeed, and Lucas actually let them use official music/sound effects, so he must have enjoyed it to. "Something, Something, Something, Dark Side" the parody of The Empire Strikes back is in production at the moment and should be equally amusing as Blue Harvest.
It's worth watching BH on DVD, as there is an extended version, which I believe was not the one shown on TV.

the BBC advertised it was going to be on BBC3. That must explain it.
Anyone been to see Clone Wars in the cinema yet?

The funniest bit has to be Mr Herbert (the old guy) launching into "The Time of Our Lives". Closely followed by Glen Quagmire (giggidy giggidy goo, alllll right).
I am sad enough to have all 6 series on my iPod, essential viewing for the train out of London (along with 12 series of South Park...)

If you like 'Family Guy' then have you watched 'American Dad!'? It's from the same team as 'Family guy'. Theres also a new spin-off show from Family Guy airing next year called 'Cleveland' based on the character of Cleveland.

Used to love the Simpsons, but think Family Guy is much funnier, and have also caught on to American Dad.. Seth McFarland is obviously a very talented guy

In the first series, i thought Stewie was the best character, but Quagmire has got so much better into series 3 that he is now my fave !!
And another top quote from Peter Griffin - "Lois its your fault that our son has an enormous ****".

love Family Guy!
Best thing about the whole Family Guy thing...is that the writers must be around 25-35yrs old, as almost every episode has a reference to all the great stuff of the 80's..from scences clearly based on Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark) to He Man and simple one liners based on all the awesome films that I (being 28yrs old) have grown up with! - very clever.

We used to kick everyone out of the pub on a Sunday night and then put the DVD on the big screen. I'd never seen so much fying kebab/salad/sauce until we'd starterd watching that series!
I've recently strtaed watching Unhitched on FX which is by the same Yanks, the Farrely Brothers, who wrote all the gross-out films such which we all love. Worth a watch!
