that's MAX speed! I'm hardly likely to be able to get that photo when DOING over 70mph on a push bike

Nope - I can promise you it wasn't attached to my car. Beside I would NEVER drive that fast in my car as I never speed

This seems to present something of a paradox, IMO of course
In order to attempt such speeds on a bike you'd need ***** the size of spacehoppers which would negate the possibility of getting on the bike in the first place.

Could you not hang one either side of the saddle?

Is this like one of those lateral thinking games?
Your bike was upside down on the floor and you were turning the pedals with your hand??

Nope - the wheels were on the road, I don't think you COULD spin the wheels that fast with your hands - I'd be having talks with my big brother Friction Burns if that was the case
Oh, and the Cycle Computer is exactly calibrated for my bike, so I didn't cheat by sticking the wrong size wheel offset in.

I could beat that easily by entering a tiny wheel size in the set up, although I'm not implying that you did the same.

You were towing it behind a car whilst holding on to a length of rope?

Fair point but the knees would be pointing north and south. Not an optimal configuration - increased drag, inefficient pedalling not to mention a tad uncomfortable

I was sat down at the time and very comfortable while the speedo was showing that speed
Oh, and I've managed to exceed it - now got 75.9MPH Maximum Speed

You put the bike on a treadmill and cycled?
Come on someone, please work this out, I know someone here can do it. It's annoying me and I've got things I should be doing but can't until I know the answer. I think I'm getting closer though...

I was certainly personally and individually involved in the event that caused the cycle computer to show the demonstrated speed
