I've been thinking of getting one (3G), trouble is that Apple seem to release a newer version every few months, which makes it tricky knowing just when to dive in!

Emperors new clothes??
Just because its the ""must have"" doesn't mean its any good.
now if it had more memory, & a 5mp+ cameraa, then it might be worth looking at.
However as it stands now, i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

Horses for courses Mart, I'm more interested in the applications, ipod and wifi internet than I am the camera and storage, and 16 MB isn't that bad surely, especially when you can doc it and download if needed.

Personally, thats the last barrier. If they get some decent optics, then phones will come into there own.
I dont like apples Itunes / interface & method of operating, so its not going to float my boat. that said i think the Ipod it a smart bit of kit, and yes i,d have one, but not with apples interface

iPhone Nano is news to me, I've not seen it mentioned on Macrumors, which I'd trust far more than the daily mail. I don't see much point in a smaller version of the iPhone, to package what is needed in the smaller form factor would of course mean a loss of functionality, and I'd see that as a massive step backwards, something Apple would not want to do.
I can't see why Apple would change the interface for the phone on a nano model, it does not make sense, and you'd then want a touch interface, and for the nano size that would not really work. The interface for the iPod Touch/iPhone is about as small as you'd want to go before it really becomes difficult to see.
