Ooops, when setting the alarm, I forgot to omit the upstairs PIR, strolled up the stairs, then ran like a ****** back down when the alarm went off

Tell them you had a burgler smash his way through the back door setting the alarm off, you ran downstairs in nothing but your birthday suit and beat him to the ground before he had the chance to escape. The Police came and took him away saying that they'd been looking for him for weeks as he targets the same neighbourhood over a period of nights and takes everything including small children and pets. Your neighbours will think that you are a hero

There are two barn conversions and a new build going on near us and they also start at 8am. In a few weeks another new build is going to start It's not just the noise but the dust as well, grrr.

And the smell of Pig **** from them spraying it on the fields, it stinks.

I am not going to worry about burning my privet clippings now, as that smells really nice in comparison.

If they start building tomorrow I am going round there for a moan.

There was a bit of a beat the neighbour competition going on in my street a while back, a few of them getting their garages converted in to sun rooms Getting woken up at 8ish with stihl saws and hammering made me a bit

As for my garage, it's still a garage and will remain as that!

Dear Mr. Bam,
I'm so sorry to hear of your troublesome alarm thingy.
However; I'm surprised to hear that the 'thingy' would have any influence on your neighbours.
I suggest that a distance of, perhaps, several hundred yards between you and your nearest fellow citizens should be quite sufficient to dissipate any disturbance you may inadvertently make.
Either your neighbours are too sensitive or, god forbid, you live in a squalid slum situation, one upon the other (I give to charities on occasions) or maybe your thingy is too big. I doubt the latter is the case.
