Whats the rules for faulty items being returned?
OK. I bought a set of speakers about a month ago and a couple of weeks ago noticed the sub was making a low humming noise - had them over 14 days as they were sat in boxes until the front room was finished. This was an intermittant fault and was clearly not what it was supposed to do. I tried it in several places and also tested to see if outside influences were to blame (heating etc)
The sub was picked up and sent back to the shop for test. They've had it there for a while and have not managed to get the same fault.
I haven't contacted them yet as I'm not sure where I stand re replacement. They've been very good and kept me up to date but at no time was I advised that if its found not to be faulty I have to pay £30 shipping.
I'm not too happy because it won't surprise me in the least that when it comes back it will make the noise again. Then what do I do?
