What a sad day .

I know weston is hardly an amazing place but its a shame to see something i remember so well going up in smoke. Only the other day i was on it when visiting the parents.

Still on a brighter note nobody hurt, i will be there with the metal detector after work. Must be **** loads of cash in the sand now.

A real disaster for many people. A shame to lose such an historical place with so many great memories over the years.

- 'somebody' lit our West pier ( what remained of it) in Brighton cos they didnt want the enabling development ( monstrousity) to be erected

and that is now a mass of tangled ironwork rising form the water
