Moving White Goods
You know those little low profile truck things with little wheels that you slide under fridges and washing machines etc to move them in and out of recesses?
I need to buy some but I don't know what they are called.
Can anybody help out?
TIA

I have two of those clarke dollies and they're not up to much. They don't like carpet particularly and the wheels don't like changing direction when anything heavier than a book is on top of them.
I was using them to stack stuff in my storage unit so it was easy to move but more hassle than they're worth.
I'd be tempted to try something like this:

No - they are much smaller and flatter then that and come in pairs. You slide them under what you want to move and then 'jack' them up with a small handle to lift the object (fridge, washing machine or what have you) just slightly off the ground - then you can roll it forwards (or backwards) and lower it again into the new position.
lol - I could draw one better than describe it, but anyone who's seen them before would know what i mean.
