Default Moto GP - F1 role reversal?

Usually I would be recommending everyone to watch the U.S. Moto GP race @ the breathtaking Laguna Seca track live tonight at 21:40

However, it's almost certain that Casey Stoner will cruise to victory leaving a boring and predictable procession in his wake. (Schumaker/Ferrari style)

On the other hand - the F1 german GP earlier was a good race with lots of overtaking and Hamilton having to fight hard for his victory.

Are things starting to be stood on their head for the first time in many years, in that F1 is now actually becoming more interesting to watch than Moto GP?

Laguna Seca has the corkscrew which is mental, that and the bathhurst races kick F1's ****.. but yeah F1 today showed what was missing the last 15 years!

IMO Moto gp is having the same problem that F1 has had in that having different brands of tyres is killing it. F1 has just got better and better since there has only been bridgestone supplying the rubber

I'm actually quite excited about the MotoGP tonight, sure Stoner is going to walk it, but with it sounds like the Michelin teams might just have some tyres that will enable them to keep him honest and with any luck JT might achieve something. His 5th place in qualifying was a bit of a shock but if it's an indication of what these tyres will do then it could be more interesting than we think - at least I hope so.

I'll be watching the MotoGP as I've already seen the Grand Prix which came alive after Glock's crash

To be fair, the GP was dull till...well, the bit that changed the race (for the benefit of those that haven't seen it).

I think it's been given away.

You may be right - perhaps it was a one off, but it was a good race for once. I enjoyed watching Alonso - everytime he tried a move it went horribly wrong and he lost a couple more places a pleasure to watch

Indeed let's see what JT can do with a decent grid place on a track he knows well. First time he's out qualified Colin Edwards, which is a benchmark in itself 'specially at Laguna Seca..

The grid girls are a good reason to watch GP though!!!!!

I've always watched Moto GP and probably always will.......being a Rossi fan........and I became very bored with F1 a few years ago.

However..........F1 seems to have been livened up a bit since we have a certain Mr Hamilton flying the flag for Great Britain..............we're a fickle lot eh??

Let's have more of Bathhurst on TV....it used to be...why not now????
