what the f*** am i looking at? i downloaded both versions? the one car went down an embankment because some pube didnt put his handbrake on properly

Unscrew/lift the handbrake surround between the seats and you will see how to adjust the hand brake. From what you've described, one of your cables have snapped. Very easy to fit a new one though
