Was working away from home yesterday and was supposed leave site at 1/2 for a 350 mile drive home approx 6hours. Got stuck on site (started at 8) Asked my boss (at half 4 still hadnt finished) if he would pay over time for the drive home or should I book a hotel, thought I was gonna be stuck there until 7. He told me I could not claim OT and could not stay over night as I was needed in work the next day so I had to drive 350 mile after my days work.

What are the laws on driving for work ????
