They want their electrification MODERNISED? Muahahahahahahahahaha!

Lying Labour are ONLY JUST starting to admit that further electrification would be a good idea. Until now, their stance has been that any new trains ordered ought to be diesels, and that diesels are more efficient than electrics

That is because diesel trains run in diesel which the government control the tax on so the more diesel trains running equals more diesel used equaling more tax paid to the government it ain't rocket science mate

Plus it cuts down on the number of fried kids playing on railway tracks
