Camping in Pembrokeshire
Lo All,
I know it's a bit late in the year to get somewhere booked but me and the wife + sprogs fancy a week camping during August.
I'm thinking Pembrokeshire area because we have stayed a couple of times before in a static caravan. Can anyone recommend a good campsite? Don't mind about the price as long as it has;
Electric Hook Up
Decent Hot Showers, (kids get grubby VERY quickly).
Close to a beach would be a bonus.
Also, it does not HAVE to be Pembrokeshire. I am located in North Wales so willing to go anywhere, (within reason!!)
Ta!
blubs
PS. Shut yer face Geezer!

Why not Tenby
Campsites in Tenby - camping in Tenby Pembrokeshire campsite in Tenby Wales uk
Nice to have a wander around Tenby and Saundersfoot. Both have nice beaches. If your bored theres Oakwood (Ok for nippers but some rides they are too small), Folly Farm (Great for nippers but not too interesting for early teens - our 6 YO daughter loves FF), Dinosaur Park - OK, but a bit ****.
Blue Stone is opening shortly. Its a bit like Centre Parcs I believe. They've got a huge tropical pool thing. We went to Oakwood recently and you can see it from the top of one of the rides - great big lozenge shaped affair.

Theres quite a few nice looking sites on the road that goes past Saundersfoot and Tenby. Was in Tenby a couple of weeks back for a week staying at a friends place. South Beach in Tenby is really cool and a massive expanse of sand, a bit bleak though when its raining and windy (like it was for most of my week away....)
Folly Farm was good but not enjoyable in the pi55ing rain.....

I dunno. The fairground rides keep the kids happy. The clown act loses you half an hour and the indoor adventure climbing thing isn't bad.
I have nightmares of that clown though. I daren't tel lyou how many times I've seen him.
