so, what's your favourite PS2 title?
#2
I'm thinking about getting SSX Tricky, but I hav played the original to death (almost). Read the official PS2 mag review yesterday, they think it's great (even for people who have played the orginal). Tricky has two more courses and almost everything is re-camped. I need a decent game that will last me until MGS2 is out next year.
What's GTA3 like?

GTA3 is the mutts nutts, surely you should of got the gist of that from everyone ranting about it on here!
GTA3 is so involving, so much attention to detail (picking up ******, driving them to a quiet area, giving her one, and then running her over and getting your money back is my fave ) there are loads and loads and loads of missions it will take you a long time to finish!

GTA3 is definitely awesome.. sometimes just play it to drive round at high speed running people over
SSX Tricky is awesome too, enough changes to make it worth buying even if you have the original..
Tony Hawkes 3 is brilliant...
Airblade - hmmm.. average
GT3 - just one of those titles you have to have, its the law!
I'm still toying with getting WRC despite the critisism (SP!)...

Got Silent Hill 2 a couple of weeks ago, played about an hours worth and it scared the living daylights out of me, not had the guts to go back to it yet (time is a problem at the moment actually), but this is gonna be the best title i own so far, i loved the original Silent Hill and this just looks so much better.
Am waiting for SSX tricky at the moment as really liked the first one too.

Yep, Grand Theft Auto is (IMHO) the best game I've ever played on PC or console.
There's nothing better that taking refuge on the roof of the casino with my bazooka and sniper rifle, then picking off the FBI and police as they attempt to drive up the stairs to get me. (And the odd helicopter that annoys me aswell.)
Only by looking at the walkthru last night did I realise how huge this game is and how much I have missed, meaning that if I finish it, I can go back and start again.
Great stuff.

GT3 for me - first time I played it I ended up doing a weekend marathon, completely hooked - only stopped for a McD's!
However, I haven't been allowed to get anywhere near GTA yet, will let you know

007 Agent Under Fire!!!!
If you can get your head round the controls, it's superb!!
I got it yesterday and was up till two in the morning playing it.
I even tried the 2 player mode on my own to see what it was like.
Can't wait to play against somebody else.
Loads of fun.

Quite like the Atari Splashdown although I wouldn't say it's my fave! It's nice to have a game that's not Motor Racing, football or shoot em up and the graphics/feel of the game are pretty good....
Also, have GT3,SSX,and WRC but this is going back to Game under the 10 day money back guarantee and may exchange it for SSX Tricky cos I loved the first one!
Cheers,
Nick..

I bought Agent Under Fire a couple of days ago too.
It's great fun. Trouble is it's a bit cheesey at times and some of the missions are too easy.
The multi player mode though is the best bit about the game. You really must get a mate or two round - it's a real laugh!
Also got GT3 (a must) and SSX (original).
As I don't buy games that often, I can't convince myself to buy Tricky yet - seems a waste if you've already got the first one.
Is it really that much better?

It isn't that it is better. It has all the good bits of the old version with a few new bits to keep it fresh. Sort of like GT1 and GT2. Pipedream is absolutely awesome though, and all the courses are completely revamped.
