Thumbs down 'racist' Toddlers

Couldn't make this one up

Toddlers who turn their noses up at spicy food from overseas could be branded racists by a Government-sponsored agency.

Toddlers who dislike spicy food racist, say report - Telegraph

Now the PC Though Police are starting to bully toddlers.

It advises nursery teachers to be on the alert for childish abuse such as: "blackie", "Pakis", "those people" or "they smell".
Is fair enough

The guide goes on to warn that children might also "react negatively to a culinary tradition other than their own by saying 'yuk'".
Is silly.

Ha, so what if they dont like "English" food, is that betraying their cultural roots.

I do agree that kids should be told from an early age that such terminology is not acceptable, I suspect a lot hear it from their parents, I am trying to wean mine off calling anything unsatisfactory, or each other "Gay".

Kids can say stuff in all innocence though that could be construed as racial, my little lad went to a party for his little Black mates birthday, I asked him to point his friend out (was about 25% black People) and he said "its him, the brown one over there", he didnt mean anything but I went bright red and the mother heard, the mother was apt to play the race card in any problem at school, accusing kids of being racist, parents as well, it was simply her child was quite naughty and got in trouble, she took it as victimisation hence my embarassment at what my lad had said, he was quite correct, he was indeed the borwn one over there, it was a fact, he didnt say over there, The N****r in the corner which would have been racist. As for the smell, I always remember my mate Naseem at school smelt different, not good, not bad, just different, probably the different cusine being cooked in his house and possibly genetic difference I dont know, stinking of body odour seems to span racial boundaries as I have smelt stinky people of all races on my travels !

I would have expected children would only act in a racist manner if they had had such examples from their peers. If they were all lumped together with no previous bias against children from different origins I dont think they would even notice it. If for example one of the children was a bit smelly they might say it in all innocence without meaning anything with regard to his origin.

The business about food dislikes is mindbendingly stupid.

In the country where a white man has been charged with racism for calling some white bouncers "honkies", nothing surprises me.

"they smell".
I fail to see how a child can be brandished a racist for such a comment. People of different cultures do have different aromas and kids are renowned for telling it like it is. It doesn't mean they harbour hateful thoughts in the same way that a kid pointing on a train and saying, "he's fat mummy" is simply child curiosity and observation.

Whoever wrote the document needs lined up and shot. Having worked in local government and dealt with many agencies I can see how these things happen. It's usually just some bored nutjob struggling to fill the time in the day letting his fingers wander over the keyboard.

Our youngest has a black dog that she made at "Build'a'bear" workshop

She called it Blackie because .......shock horror...it is black.
I best go and lock her up for being a racist thug, the little ****
What was she thinking, she should know better at the age of ................3

And my two boys reguarly turn their nose up at spicy food and say it smells like poo or is yuky. Obviously these are early signs of blatant racism and I must stamp it out before it develops further.

(oh and no Robinson's Jam for them either )

quite right. my eldest brother used to be a hong kong narcotics officer. his experience was that the chinese thought 'gwi-lo' (westerners) smelled bad because of all the dairy in the diet. and vice versa for fish.

as les says, this is mindbendingly stupid. and the totally predictable, stalinist control freakery that goes hand-in-glove with an institutionally socialist public sector.

Yes but they are right. No amount of 'sprinkles' will mask what it actually is.

Who pays these sandal wearing, mung bean eating, south african peace crisp sponsoring tw@s to come up with ideas like this!

These people are the sort of tossers that have very badly bullied kids at school, and blame societies ills, conviently ignoring the fact they are to blame with their pc bollocks!

Reminds me of the kid in about a boy, has no chance in life with parents with fcuked up ideals.

It was from the "who would you vote for" thread.

20% of people or something silly like that, said they would vote BNP

EDIT: It was actually 16.66%: https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...t-month-2.html
