Where in Yorkshire are you ? I teach around west and northwest Leeds !

I charge £19.50/hr, but only do 2 hour lessons.

What are they like ? Great fun in my speedy little Fabia vRS

As stated above, avoid the bigger companies. As long as your instructor has a green badge, NOT pink (trainee) then they are trained to exactly the same standards as any other. They know all the trips and pitfalls you'll get on a test and will prepare you much more thoroughly than learning from a mate or relative (probably).

Buy a copy of 'DSA The Driving Essentials' and read it before you start learning. For £13 or less you may shave many hours off your learning, and at £20ish an hour that's a good saving. After passing sell the book on eBay or wherever to get even some of that back

Im wondering whether the OP is looking for further driving tuition; as opposed to simple lessons.....

Sorry Dave.

P.S. wwp8 Get yourself to Blyton with the WYIOC next month, and Dave will give you the benefit of his advice, it costs peanuts and is the most fun you and your car will have !

Rallydrive

Most useful stuff for road driving however is Roadcraft.
