This is a pre-amble of what a Tory Government would be like .... that's why Cameron is bricking it, for if Boris messes up (as I think he will) it will reflect badly on the Tories and NL will walk into power again in 2 years time ....... shocking enough that will be, but - the devil you know is worth a bonus!

My word, I bet I can guess which party you support, in spite of everything, and you were just looking for a chance to get at the others even though Boris has done nothing wrong and the man in question has resigned and will be the subject of a full investigation instigated by Boris himself. Did you actually think that he would have been employed had all those allegations from 10 years ago were known about?

How about you consider all those who were caught out from '97 onwards, some of whom resigned when it became too hot for them to stay in and who were given highly paid jobs to make up for it.

Don't believe for a moment that the average person is prepared to overlook all the sleaze that we see in poilitics these days on all sides of the House. Most however are fair minded enough to place the blame where it really belongs and not go screeching about those who were not to blame until something has been positively proved.
