hi all, any 1 know how to do this? got a v reg focus ghia, fob doesnt open the doors or boot, tried turnin ignition on and off till sound then pressin button on fob but this doesnt work. anythin else i can do?

 

The easiest way is to disconnect the battery from the car so that the code resets, put the keyfob in a plastic bag, food type will be fine, and then put that in the freezer overnight, this will then recharge the fob battery and hey presto!

 

Also, when its fixed you have to press the boot release button twice, its to prevent accidental opening, update us on the cure

 

Try changing the battery in the fob
